Offer Description :

Day 1 : Welcome to Burgundy!

You will meet your guide at the Dijon Train station. Then transfer to your hotel Chateau de Gilly for bike departure. You will ride a few miles into the vineyard s of the Côte de Nuits before lunch in Gevrey Chambertin. Pedal through the most famous plot in the world La Romanee Conti for a stop and picture. Visit the Clos Vougeot, icone of Burgundy built by the monks on XI century. Before to be back at the hotel a wine cellar visit and wine tasting at the bottom of the Clos Vougeot hillside. Enjoy your hotel with a massage or an aperitif before your dinner at the hotel

Day 2 :

Ride today is between the Cote de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune. You will have 2 options, a flat one or more challenging. Those ride will immerge you in the heart of Burgundy through small paved road, with sunflowers field and vineyards, crossing famous villages as Nuist St Georges, Aloxe Corton, Pernand Vergelesse. Passing beside the Charlemagne favorite vineyard. Before lunch a visit of the cellar of the Chateau de Corton and a wines tasting of their famous wines. A few miles before Beaune and sip wines and talk with locals. This town is the pearl of Burgundy, capital of Burgundy wines, but also splendid architecture. A visit of the famous monument The Hospices de Beaune ?Maison Dieu? and then a winerie tour with more wines tasting, just to prepare to a gourmet dinner in one of the gorgeous restaurant of Beaune.

Day 3:

The favorite bike ride and the most popular, it's today from Beaune, cycling through picturesque villages in the French countryside. Enjoy extraordinary views of St. Romain's thirteenth-century castle ruins. Pedal past Charolais cows, the château at La Rochepot, and into charming Orches. A leisurely downhill ride delivers us to Saint Aubin, home to a grand Romanesque church. Indulge in our gourmet picnic or lunch ( depend of the weather )

followed by a tasting visit in Chassagne-Montrachet and go wine shopping in town. Cycling through towns like Puligny Montrachet, we'll arrive in Pommard for a special visit of typical small winery and been back in Beaune for a visit of the Fallot Mustard manufacture. Tonight unwind at the hotel before another truly elegant dinner in town.

Day 4

Breakfast and Good Bye Burgundy ! You will be transfer to the train station in Beaune
